Life happens in relationship—whether romantic, friendship, family, or community.

Wounded people can heal together. Emotionally immature people can grow up together.

We don’t have to know before we start. We can learn from one another’s histories. Through our curiosity, we can broaden our perspective. By asking questions, we expand our understanding. In quiet listening, we can grow.

We can show up for one another’s struggles. We don’t have to be perfect.

We may hurt someone, and we may be hurt…accidentally, inadvertently, and sometimes even on purpose. But that doesn’t have to stop us from participating.

We are human and flawed. We trip. We fall. We miss the mark. We forget the turn.

We can always circle back. We can always change our mind. We can always try again.
